Melanie graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in elementary education and later went on to earn an M.S. in administration and supervision. She holds both a professional teaching license and a professional administrator license from the State of Tennessee, and has been an educator for 37 years.  She currently serves on the Templar School of Education Advisory Board at Johnson University.  Melanie and her husband, Lindsay, have three daughters and five grandchildren. Their oldest grandson, Joel, is in second grade at FCA. Melanie is a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church and serves on the connection team.


Shannan Rebold worked as a creative director with a non-profit organization for 12 years in California and Tennessee. She was a purchasing agent for Turning Point Ministries with Dr. David Jeremiah in CA, and was a featured singer/dance captain at the theater formerly known as The Governor’s Palace in Sevierville, TN. In addition to her responsibilities as our development director, Shannan also sponsors our drama club. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in Christian counseling. Shannan and her husband, Ryan, have three children who are students at Freedom; Jackson is a fifth grader, Parker is in second grade, and Sutton is in K3. 



Paulette has been on staff in our Infant/Toddler Center for 12 years. She served as the lead infant teacher for five years before assuming the position of center director. Paulette is a member of Meridian Baptist Church.
